The shapes, tone, and colour created by buildings within the landscape are fascinating me at the moment. I am merging hills, fields and water with roof tops, church spires and garden walls. Turning the mundane into some thing interesting and appealing is just one of my current objectives.
 

The Pastel Society Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London

This prestigious and exciting exhibition takes place in the fist two weeks of March. For the fifth consecutive year my work has been selected and shown alongside the best pastilists in the country. The gallery itself has recently undergone substantial improvement, making it a modern, light and spacious space. The exhibition looked fantastic with lots of exciting work on display, showing the versatility and vibrancy of pastels.

The Northampton Town and County Summer Show at Lamport Hall

16th to the 22nd of June
This very exciting exhibition took place in a wonderful setting in the stable block of Lamport Hall with the sun flooding through the large open doors. The works shown were all by local established artists using a variety of mediums and subject matter.
Next years exhibition will again take place in June 09.
